• I had plans with Linda today, but it was canceled at the last minute as she needed to go back to her hometown for her daughter.
• She always spoke about her with me and the more she talked, the more evident her love for the little girl was evident in her words.
• I stood from my bed, trying to see if I could distract myself with a thing or two around the house. Holvaster was in his study, and I wasn’t so sure that he would appreciate my presence while dealing so intently with business.
