- I slammed the heavy oak door of my study behind me, my knuckles white with fury. The latest report from the search teams lay on my desk like a stain I couldn’t wash away. They had combed every corner of the forest and found nothing. Every map, every timestamp, every lead pointed to the same empty result: Nadia was gone.
- Rio’s voice trembled when he reported back. “Boss, we’ve covered the whole area. It’s been over six hours.” He paused. “We’ll keep looking, sir.”
