• In the comfort of my office, I watch as she sashays over to the six pairs of monitors on my desk, her shoulders more relaxed, her demeanor less formal and more open. Three pairs are focused on the club, and the other three, the house. Ally moves about, cleaning the kitchen, and Titania watches calmly — surprise spreading slowly on her face.
• I turn away and reach out to retrieve two wine glasses and a fresh new wine bottle, replacing it with the empty one I brought up carefully. I stride to the desk and place the glasses on it, pouring the wine. When I'm done, I pick one up and pass it up to her. She takes it without question, her eyes still drawn to the monitors.
• “I didn't know you watch the house,” she said softly, her voice barely audible but I hear it all right. Just like I hear her heart beating slow in her chest. Her skin glows under the pale yellow bulb lights — a brazen porcelain. My eyes stray over her appearance once more, noting the delicate, feminine way she stood, her curls defined, covering half of her face. I note the way her nipples jutted out stubbornly, despite the fact that she's wearing a bra. Note the way her fingers trembles as she holds the glass to her lips, finally looking away from the monitors, her gaze now resting fully on me. I place my drink down and take off my jacket, suddenly feeling hot. She puts down hers after a few more sips, next to mine, her shimmering green eyes now dark with shy lust.
