• It's a little after two before I manage to peel myself off the bed, drawing my butt backwards to rest my back on the headboard. I groan as I place a hand on my forehead, my skin piping hot. Thanks to the cold weather caused by the rain last night, I'm coming down with a slight fever. My entire body aches, and my mouth is sour. A knock sounds on the door, just as I'm about to stand and go into the bathroom to wash my face.
