• Daniel shook the offered hand firmly. “Thank you, Mahendra. I will protect Ayu with everything I have for the rest of my life.”
• Ayu’s father finally spoke, his voice hoarse as if carrying a deep sorrow. “Then... how will you explain this to the community? To the village elders?”
