Chapter 33 Drugged

• Athena sat beside Roman with a bored expression on her face. She looked mindlessly here and there, not being able to focus on anything. She started to hate those business parties. Before coming, she was anticipating the party but after coming, she regretted it. Those men around here were only talking about business, the stock market or other boring things. While the women were busy talking about fashion, designer dresses and jewellery or boyfriends. Athena was interested in none of that stuff.
• She was getting annoyed at Roman for forcing her to stay beside him. She had no job sitting there and staring at people's faces. Getting impatient, Athena poked Roman's arm making him turn around and face her. He raised one of his eyebrows, silently asking her to speak.
• "I'm bored. Can I go and look around?" Athena asked pitifully. Roman paused for a moment before looking around for a few seconds. He then leaned forward towards her.
