Chapter 15 Caught A Thief?

• It had been a few days since Athena started working in the kitchen. So far everything turned out smooth for her. Even though she had to do extra work, it was still better than her previous job as Roman's assistant number 2. The staff of the kitchen were all friendly and helpful, they all welcomed her with open arms and made sure she was comfortable. She even made some good friends here. Ivan, Lizzy and Belle were a few of them. They made her work in the kitchen more fun.  Sometimes she prayed to God not to let the main chef return anytime soon or let him land a better job so he would not return. As a result, she could continue to work here till her contract marriage was over or till Roman let her work anywhere but under him. She couldn't take his bullshit without snapping at him. 
• Thinking of him, she remembered she hadn't seen him for three days. Four days after he brought her to the hotel as a replacement for the main chef, he immediately left for a business meeting in Toronto and hadn't returned home so far. Even though Athena missed his handsome face sometimes, her days had been very peaceful without any hassles from his side. Of course, she didn't want to lose her peace just for the sake of wanting to see his handsome face. 
• "Are you even listening to me, Athena? Or did I just blubbered for nothing?" A very cute female voice filled with annoyance reached Athena's ears, making her come back to reality with a jerk. She turned around to face the person with a frown. But soon her frown turned into a smile seeing Lizzy's annoyed expression.
