Chapter 24 Her Anger

• After coming back from the hospital, Athena locked herself in her room for the whole day. She didn't even come out to have dinner which made Roman quite anxious. He had knocked on her door two times but didn't get any response. He knew she was mad at him and it was justified after what he had done the previous night. He wanted to apologise but didn't know how to approach her when she had locked herself in.
• On the other hand, the whole day Athena stayed in her bed, she was angry and upset. This time she wasn't going to forgive him for being so cruel. The whole day she read some books, talked to her friends and watched some movies before dozing off.
• The next morning Athena came out of her room and headed straight to the kitchen to make some breakfast. She had taken a shower and let her wet hair open to air dry. She made some pancakes, fruit salad, bacon and scrambled eggs. After setting the table she sat down at the dining table to eat. She was happy that Roman wasn't there. She was quietly eating when she heard someone's footsteps. She didn't need rocket science to know it was Roman. She didn't look up, instead, she started to eat a little faster so that she could go back. Upon reaching the dining area, Roman found Athena having her breakfast. She didn't look up at him so he cleared his throat to get her to respond. Unfortunately, she didn't pay any attention to his attempt. Sighing she sat down opposite her.
