• The conference lasted three hours, tiring me out. By the time I was done, the entire place was pitch black except for the illumination blaring from my floor, indicating that I was still around. Brandon had stationed guards around my floor when I walked out. Passing each, they gave a curt nod while battling with their sleepy eyes.
• At the entrance of my office door, I saw Brandon. He looked the most awake, with no sign of exhaustion telling off on him. Exactly why I like and have kept him all these years.
