• MILES:
• The flight was smooth and quick. We landed on the helipad of a penthouse I had to rent, close to where Meredith was. I came with extra security added to the one the hotel provided. Since the entire place was crowded, it was best to take safety measures.
• From the helipad, we rode the elevator to the first floor, straight to the car. Honestly, my emotions were now numb. I just wanted to get to her. Throughout the flight, I kept praying that she wouldn't end up doing anything crazy and uncalled-for. My heart violently ached at the thought of her harming herself.
