Chapter 29
- MILES:
- The early hours of the morning were still at peace when the noise of the treadmill steadily hummed under my feet as I raced away. Today, I wanted to train alone, so I made use of the in-house gym while Brandon and Meredith trained outside. I requested that I shouldn't be disturbed until I was done.

My iPod blared with heavy music, and still, it wasn’t loud enough, so I turned it up, glad the gym was soundproofed. Even if it wasn't, I didn't care who heard my playlist.
