• Lucien watched as Mara went through the pages of the contract again until she was satisfied, she looked cute to him with her head buried in its pages and so he clasped his hands on both cheeks and watched. He noticed that her eyes always narrowed anytime she did not like a particular clause in the contract any time she came across one that she was sure to review; she closes her eyes and commits it to mind.
• “Are you done?” he asked her when she looked up at him.
• “Yes, I just have few things I want to clarify.”
