• I was been an asshole because only an asshole would tell a girl he liked her one minute and then the next that she was too innocent. It was infuriating to not be able to properly express how I felt about her and the fear that if I did something too forward, she would bolt and never come back.
• I groaned brushing the errant locks of my hair from my eyes, I knew I had to apologize to her immediately and so I made my way to her room. the door was slightly ajar and I could hear laughter filtering through and then a name that stopped me in my tracks.
