• Time went by extremely slowly, and in three days, it felt like it had been weeks. I still had not heard from Ethan. I still had no idea how he was being held. I had no idea if he was being mistreated or not. I had not slept well for the last three nights, and even the few hours I was asleep, I was still restless. I could not count how many times I had cried.
• I still managed to go to work, but I wasn't enjoying it anymore. I was performing terribly at all my trainings, and they were beginning to suspect that something was wrong with me. Amanda especially. She was so perceptive, and she easily got curious and worried.
