• It was evening and almost time for Ethan to come back. Ariana was asleep. She slept off after our lectures for the day. I came out to the balcony, not realizing how I was hoping for Ethan to come home.
• I remembered what happened the previous day. That man he called his father was talking down on him like he was nothing. As much as I wanted to avoid Ethan and not want anything to do with him, I couldn't just stand there and let him believe all those. I just found myself running after him, wanting to comfort him. His fiancee needs to come back as soon as possible. Maybe if she was here, she would had been the one to go after him and not me.
