• I was tossing and turning in bed, wanting to call Ethan, but I was waiting for him to arrive there first. He would arrive in France at approximately eight hours, and this was the longest eight hours of my life.
• Since I left the airport, I had been restless. I could not tell why, but I was worried about Ethan. After the eight hours, I had to hold myself back from calling him right away. I knew that he would need some time to settle in. But then his call came in, and I was hurried to take it. He just told me that he had gotten to France, but had not checked into the hotel he would be staying.
