• Chloe asked me to let Joshua go, so I did. She thought it wasn't worth it. I believed that the few hits he got was enough though. And I let him off with a warning that I would end his career if he messes with my family again. I planned to do that already, but since Chloe didn't want any of such, I decided against it. I just hoped that he would be smart enough to stay away, because I would ruin him if he dares something funny again.
• Days rolled by, and everything was normal, going so smoothly. Chloe had once told me that it seemed too good to be true, and even though I told her that it was just her fears, I felt the same way too. I felt like everything became so easy.
