Chapter 19 Scandalous

• Ethan's POV
• I was on my way back home, but my mind was all over the place. I had a rough day. Ashley called and I decided to take her call this time. I expected her to be mad, but she wasn't.
• This has been the longest I had ignored her. Unlike before where she would show her displeasure, but eventually calm down, there was nothing this time. She even seemed too pleased to hear my voice, and she told me how excited she was for our wedding that was coming. She then reminded me that she would be coming in a week. A fucking week. I didn't realize it was this close already.
