• I was stunned. Goldie just talked about Andrea finding a mate soon, and how she had always fancied me. She also knew that Andrea felt bad for having come between us. It was as if she had listened to our conversation.
• This is beginning to get scary. How exactly did Goldie know what I had discussed with Andrea before she arrived? I looked at Andrea and Goldie interchangeably, hoping one of them would provide concrete, tangible and understandable explanation to all of these but none of them said a word.
