- "Andrea, don't you think you have taken a long time with that?" my mother asked, her brow arched as she threw a look at me.
- I looked at the carrots and then back to her. "Well, the carrots aren't complaining"
- Goldie walked up to me and laid a hand on my shoulder. "You are doing great, Andrea" she commended.
