• I paced around the room and was trying to absorb all that had happened. All the elders together with beta Xander and gamma Justin were seated and deliberating on Andrea’s unexpected shift. As they spoke, I could not bring myself to listen to what they were saying, because I was tense trying to figure out everything on my own.
