• I watched with mixed feelings as they all ran off riding on the wolves. And as soon as they were all gone, I went into hiding beside one of the rocks, and the other wolves joined me in hiding too.
• I am doing this for them all, I am doing this for the entire werewolf race. I believe it behooves me to protect Hydrangea so that she would be alive for the battle that lies ahead of us all.
• I intend to distract the rogues until I am sure that my friends have all safely gotten to Great Crest Pack. I would achieve my aim using the wolves that are with me. They would be my shield against the attack of the rogues.
