Chapter 5

  • ~ Faraway in Blue Hood Castle ~
  • “Ah...” the naked Lycan Ryder screamed and jumped away from his naked companion, lady Miranda.
  • The terrified lady Miranda sat up and used the quilt to cover the lower part of her body leaving her orange-shaped breasts that were the size of a medium size watermelon bare and to the view of the Lycan king, Ryder. As she watched the Lycan king she was hoping that he would say another word to explain the reason for his terrifying scream while they both were making out but he did not say a word. Instead, he was pacing around the chambers, gnashing his teeth furiously.
  • “What is the matter, my lycan king?” lady Miranda asked after she became tired of being kept in suspense.
  • However, in response to her, he growled. “Shit...” he spat.
  • “Please, my king, is something wrong with me? I swear I never got intimate with anyone” lady Miranda asked nervously and before he could respond, she quickly flung the quilt away, got up from the bed, and hurriedly went down on her knees. She was completely consumed by fear of what her fate was.
  • Lycan Ryder looked disgustedly at her naked figure and hissed irritatedly as if a soured grape was forced down his throat.
  • “I swear with my life, my lycan" she sobbed. "We were okay all along, what went wrong?” she asked.
  • In anger, he rushed to her and kicked her away. His kick was so heavy that it sent her flying across the chamber, shattering a beautiful glass flower vase in the process.
  • “Oooh...” she groaned in pain but quickly went silent less she upsets him further. In pain, she sprung up and went back to her knees.
  • “That god-forsaken brat...” he cussed.
  • “Her?” lady Miranda asked and her eyes sparkled in nervous delight as she confirmed that she was not the problem after all.
  • Without any hint, he kicked a chair in her direction “Who else, you fool?” he cussed and hit his head hard with his right hand. If she had not known him, she would have feared that he was going to injure himself.
  • She dodged the chair he had sent her way cleverly so as not to annoy him any further. Then she got up and reached for his robe before taking a step at a time toward him.
  • “It went wrong...” she sighed, careful with her words. His silence indicated a confirmation and she was filled with rage and no longer fear.
  • Furious, he reached for the bird cage, grabbed a bird, and squeezed it until it was dead. Then he lifted it with a sinister smile. “It was supposed to be all over” he fumed.
  • “There is still another time” she replied and wrapped the robe around him.
  • “She is just a little girl. No, she is supposed to be a little girl. Why does she always seem further away each time?” he yelled.
  • “You can send me, you know,” she offered and took a half step away from him in fear.
  • Her suggestion triggered him, and gnashing his teeth, he cupped her face in his left hand and tilted it toward him. Then he grabbed her neck with his right and began to strangle her. In pain, she screeched and coughed but never dared to beg for mercy.
  • “You remain... here with me, Miranda... here” he howled. He smirked and let go of her neck, causing her to stumble and almost fall from the force he had applied.
  • “We knew just her exact location,” she said almost as soon as he let go of her, and then she reached for a glass of water which she hands over to him.
  • He collected the water and gulped it down at once. “Here...” he made to return the glass but when she brought forth her hand to collect it, he changed his mind and dropped the glass on the floor instead, shattering it. “Hydrangea...” he fumed.
  • “The glass...” Miranda called out but he was already on the shards.
  • Her state of fright amused him and he grinned. “I am not weak, Miranda” then he yelled angrily. “But that girl, Hydran...” he spat like someone that had just realized he tasted poison.
  • “Not to worry, Ryder, we will get her,” Miranda assured.
  • “You remain here, Miranda. That is what you are good for, my bed space” he retorted as he eye-fucked her naked body.
  • “Yes... yes, of course, Ryder” she replied nervously.
  • At this point, he became relaxed and reached for her hungrily. As soon as he grabbed her, he pushed her onto the bed, and with his eyes, he lusted after her body.
  • “Oh... my lycan” she giggled in ecstasy.
  • “She is shielded from me, but that won't be for too long,” he muttered.
  • “My lycan... my lycan”
  • The door had opened and a man that should be in his late twenties entered. He is duke Arnold, the best friend of the lycan king and he has come bearing news for the lycan king.
  • “Arnold...” the lycan king called quietly.
  • “Oh... pardon me, lycan king, I never knew you were not alone” duke Arnold apologized with his head lightly bowed refraining from looking at the unclad lady Miranda.
  • “You are my duke for a reason, Arnold, and not to assume” lycan king replied and climbed on Miranda, covering her with his huge frame.
  • “I am sorry, lycan. But then girl, she... she...” Arnold stammered uneasily.
  • The lycan king was annoyed at this point but refrained from showing it. “Say the word, Arnold. Just admit your incompetency” he mocked.
  • “She escaped. But the men... those that arranged it, they are the best. The... the darkest force... It... it shouldn’t have gone wrong” he appealed.
  • At this point, lycan Ryder got up from Miranda and walked close to Arnold. “It has been years, Arnold, almost a century that I have been waiting patiently for this time...”
  • “I am sorry, my lycan king” Arnold stuttered.
  • Lycan Ryder continued. “All these years I have barely existed. This is my kingdom, the Blue Hood Castle is mine. But look at me, take a look at me. I am immortal and hiding from my subjects. I need to get the Hydrangea, I need to live” he gritted his teeth.
  • “I will meet with them right away, my lycan king. This time, we will come up with something... we will...”
  • Before he could finish, Ryder stopped him. “I have my plans in place" he paused. "I will wait years if that is what it will cost”
  • “No, no, Ryder. You cannot wait for the time. We cannot wait for the time. What will be in for us then? We will lose everything” Arnold objected in anxiety.
  • “Wait you say, my lycan. Then we gain nothing” at this point Miranda was already covered in a quilt and was standing beside Ryder.
  • “If that time comes, then I will work with the time. I will enter a bargain with it and aid the process” Ryder replied.
  • Hearing this, Arnold and Miranda’s eyes widened in terror. Their mouths opened to speak but for the first few seconds, neither of them could make use of it. At last, it was Miranda who spoke. “Bargain... that...” she was quiet again as she could not fully comprehend the plan of lycan Ryder.
  • “Until then, we will keep trying,” lycan Ryder said.
