• I was sitting with Akayla and I wanted to cry. For the first time in my life I felt powerless and weak. I felt like a fool for playing directly into Julian’s game. Now he had me where he wanted me. Opening the portal won’t be possible because Akayla suddenly refused to open it. She was being adamant about the whole thing and it seems I can’t change her mind. Maybe I shouldn’t have attempted to do this at all, I should have just been content with being the Alpha of my tiny pack.
