• The week went by in a peculiar routine for Simon. At work, the tension from broken contracts eased with the success of the Essenz advertisement. He had several meetings scheduled, and new contracts replaced the old ones. Pierre did not interfere with the new transactions. Gabriel doubted he had given up on trying to harm them, but for now, his "disappearance" was reassuring.
