Chapter 19 A Request

• Paulina spotted Tabata as soon as the car turned onto the street where Guilherme lived. Dressed in a white shirt and brown overalls that accentuated her bulging belly, the young woman with Asian features was chatting with an old man in front of the iron gate of the property.
• When Simon parked, recognizing Paulina, Tabata bid farewell to the man and approached the car with a smile.
• Paulina got out and received the excited hug of the brunette, unsure of the tension between them. Tabata separated from Paulina and directed her brown eyes to the driver. She remembered being introduced to him before, but couldn't recall his name.
