- "What are you doing here?" Simon asked as soon as he settled Paulina in.
- "I wanted to confront her... To tell her that she's no good," Paulina stammered, wiping her face with anxious hands.
- "You confronting someone?" Simon sighed and pulled up a chair, sitting across from Perez. "What good would that do?"
