- As soon as Conrad and Andra stormed out of the Pack House, Meredith felt it. An itch deep beneath her skin, an ache twisting in her bones. It started in her chest, spreading like wildfire. She gasped, stumbling back, her hand reaching out for the wall. But the world spun too fast.
- “Damien…” she whispered breathlessly.
