Chapter 37 Just Relax

• As dawn broke through the curtains, Meredith found herself already moving about, making sure everything was in order. Damien, Xavier, and Magnus were still asleep, sprawled out in various positions on the couches and chairs.
• She smiled fondly. Even in their peaceful sleep, their formidable presence seemed to fill the room. But today, as much as she wanted to let them rest, she had decided it was time for them to start regaining their strength—whether they liked it or not.
• She walked over to the table, setting down a tray of breakfast—eggs, toast, fruit, and a pot of strong coffee. Magnus was the first to stir, blinking groggily as he caught the scent of food.
