Chapter 28 Two Sides

• The following morning, Meredith returned with Magnus, Damien, and Xavier to the Moonlit Pack. Damien and Xavier soon bade their farewell. Alpha and Beta works, they said.
• As Magnus and Meredith approached the training grounds, it was clear that something had changed. Warriors were gathered, already deep into their drills. The sound of feet hitting the dirt, bodies colliding, and commands being shouted filled the crisp morning air.
• Magnus, wearing his training gear, stretched his muscles, his eyes fixed on the group.
