- Sarah stood a few feet ahead of them, crossing her arms. Her face shifted from one emotion to another. The moonlight reflected off her disheveled blonde hair, her sharp blue eyes flicking between her sister and her mate. It seemed she had been waiting for them, watching them from afar.
- Gideon sighed, rubbing his temple as if bracing himself for an argument. “Baby—”
- “Don't baby me,” she cut in firmly. “I woke up to find my sister missing in the dead of night, my mate gone, and when I tracked you both, I find you sneaking back from the damn forest.”
