• Meredith cautiously followed Damien, Magnus, and Xavier back to the main packhouse. Members of the pack went about their daily routines, some in human form, others in their wolf forms. Damien carefully led her into the foyer, where a large map of the territory was pinned to the wall.
• "This is the heart of our territory," he said firmly. "It's important for you to understand the layout. We have various sections. The training grounds, the communal areas, and the private quarters.”
• Meredith studied the map. "What's the purpose of the different sections?"
