Chapter 12 Face Blindness

• "What she said made sense. Put her in charge of planning this advertisement." Damien spun his fountain pen between his fingers and looked on coldly.
• "What? Do you want to put her in charge? Does it include choosing the model?" Tyler widened his eyes in shock. He would have shouted if there were no one else around.
• "Is there a problem?"
• "There is definitely a problem. Based on what she stipulated, Lucy would be disqualified." Tyler deliberately mentioned Lucy. He felt Damien was behaving strangely concerning this matter.
• "Next, I shall demonstrate unique ways to show off one's figure. I would like to request the two interviewers there to show some respect for my presentation." She looked at Damien as she spoke. In other words, she was telling Damien and Tyler to stop whispering amongst themselves.
• The female interviewer on the right nearly fell off her chair from shock. Her voice is terrible, and she even dared to openly admonish Mr. Jacquin and Mr. Woodward!
• Roxana smiled as she looked at the blue and white porcelain teapot nearby and reached for it gracefully.
• She showed off the beautiful curves of her waist when she walked or extended her arms toward the teapot.
• Then, she held it and came to stand before Damien. "The model can show off her figure to the camera through the act of pouring tea and the graceful placement of her arms. Our society placed emphasis on culture and elegance. Thus, we will be able to achieve unique results with this method. Mr. Jacquin, would you like to try this method?"
• Roxana accidentally exposed her arm as she poured tea. Damien noticed how fair her arm was and suddenly grabbed her wrist.
• "The skin tone on your arm is different from your face." Damien narrowed his eyes and looked at Roxana suspiciously.
• "Of course, they are different. Does your face have the same skin color as your abs?"
• Tyler immediately looked at Damien's abdomen. It was fully covered by his shirt and suit. I thought this is their first meeting. How does she know he has abs?
• Damien looked into Roxana's eyes and stood up from his seat. He continued to grip her wrist tightly as he asked, "What's your name?"
• "Wynter Pace."
• She chose that name to represent how her heart had turned cold as winter.
• Tyler found Damien's behavior unusual. Damien kept staring at the ugly woman and even asked for her name. Still, who would have known this ugly woman shares the same surname as that lady…
• "Pace… Winter Pace?" Damien narrowed his eyes slightly as he observed her closely.
• Roxana deliberately looked up at him and fluttered her lashes coyly.
• The gesture prompted him to furrow his brow. "You are to report to the business planning department tomorrow and are now in charge of the advertisement for Jacquin Group's new product."
• "I have no issue with that. But can you let go of my hand, Mr. Jacquin?"
• The interviewer on the right widened her eyes in shock. I thought we were selecting a model for the advertisement. How did it suddenly become an interview for the business planning department?
• "Mr. Jacquin, Lucy is waiting for you." Tyler was determined to stir up mischief.
• "Lucy? I don't know her," Damien replied indifferently and let go of Roxana's wrist to close his folder.
• Tyler nearly dropped his jaw from shock and was so bewildered that he lost his usually suave demeanor. "She's your girlfriend, according to the tabloid. The tabloid has been reporting about her for a month, and she frequently came to Jacquin Group. Yet, you still don't remember her? You have severe face blindness."
• "Face blindness?" Roxana turned to Tyler in confusion.
• "Yes, it means he can't remember women's faces except his mother's. He kept forgetting them no matter how many times he saw them." Tyler deliberately neglected to mention one woman.
• In actuality, apart from his mother's face, Damien could also remember another woman's face.
• Roxana did not believe what Tyler said. He can't have face blindness.
