Chapter 8

• The whole place falls dead silence before Bellamy makes her move to sneak into the kitchen to find something to fill her stomach.
• She thought she could endure till tomorrow but her stomach keep growling hard and it seem she would lose her mind if she doesn’t eat.
• Managing to get to the kitchen, Bellamy open the fridge to find a quick snack but there is nothing except for meat.
• She frown at the choice of food, surprise to see that he is a meat lover. She thought he is a vegetarian or doesn’t eat at all.
• Bellamy search hard for something else but there is only bread, rubbing her stubborn grumbling stomach. Knowing the bread will not be enough, she decide to risk it and make something with the meat.
• Dealing as quietly as she can, she stir-fry a small pack of meat and devour it in two minutes. Not satisfied, she cook yet another one and eats it quickly.
• Dominic sighs angrily unable to close his eyes from the moment he hears her come out of her room.
• At first, he wonders what she is doing up but after few minutes, he smells the fire and then the juicy aroma of the meat.
• Because of his super hearing, he could smell it strong and it makes him feel hungry. He remember he hasn’t had anything to eat all day and grunts.
• However, for the fear that some incident might happen again and he might lose himself with her, Dominic decide to stay back and wait till she is done before going back to sleep. Albeit, thirty minutes later and he could still hear her in the kitchen.
• Vexed, he throw his blanket off and decide to go meet her.
• After having the third meal, Yasmin still feel a little hungry and decide to toss some bread. She sits down at the dinning table to wait for it to be done but doze off.
• Dominic walk into the room and sees her immediately, sleeping with her head resting on the table. She looks tired and mutters to herself.
• He came out to yell at her but seeing her now, he heaves and put off the toaster. He move closer and stare at her for a moment.
• The smell of the meat might have fill the room but he could still grasp her scent that seem to drive him crazy at any close contact.
• “Why are you restraining?’ his wolf steep into his head.
• “Because I don’t want to hurt her” Dominic speak out, his scary face looks calm as he watch her.
• “Then don’t. care for her and love her” it says to him but Dominic refuses.
• He do not trust himself not to hurt her. Besides, does she want him?
• “I want her” his wolf replies his thought and Dominic push him out of his head.
• He hesitates for a while but eventually move closer and carry her into his arms back to her room. Her scent hits him stronger than before and he manage to stop himself from stealing her away to his room instead.
• Putting her gently on the bed, he pull the blanket over her body and stare at her face for another minute before moving out and close the door behind him.
• Early the next morning, Bellamy wake up bemuse seeing herself back on her bed, she rush over to the kitchen and sees it all clean up like she never came there last night.
• Did she clean up after eating? Bellamy wonders and try to remember.
• But after she sits to wait for the bread to be done, she did not remember anything else. However, since only two people live in the house, she decide to believe she did the clean up and walk back to her room to sleep.
• She walk back to her room to prepare for the day’s work and glance at the door of his room wondering if he awake or not.
• Deciding not to make any mistake today, she just get dressed and wait patiently for him in the living room.
• Dominic wakes up only getting two hours of sleep and take his time to prepare for work, he receives a message from John as he deals with his tie and walk out when he is done.
• He could already sense her in the sitting room and walk over to see her busy with her phone.
• ‘Good morning Sir” she gets up.
• Dominic’s eyes falls on the clothes, he rubs his temple before speaking.
• “You are not going to work today, I have another task for you” he said and Bellamy lift her brows up.
• She has hope to take a break for two hours to go to the Brooks house. It seem like the plan today wouldn’t work.
• “What is the task Sir?’ she asked anxious.
• “Staying home” Dominic answers with a plain expression and Bellamy’s brows furrows.
• “Huh?” she asked confused.
• ‘You heard me. You are not allowed to leave this house till I come back” he orders and walk out without giving her as much as a reason.
• Bellamy stands daze for a moment until it occurs to her that she has an unexpected free day. She gasp in excitement and chuckles, throwing herself back on the sofa.

• Bellamy walks into the Brooks residence, remembering the first time she was brought here. She was ten years old and just lost her parents.
• “This is your new castle Belle”
• That was what was promised to her. But the moment her adopted Dad died, Rachel starts to treat her bad.
• She requested that she drop out of school and even went as far as not sponsoring her college tuition. She had worked hard at all kind of part time jobs to make up and suffer a lot as Rachel Brooks seem to have taken a new like to Sophia instead.
• When she graduated on top of her class, she thought Rachel would be happy and have her work at the family company but Sophia is made the new director instead.
• That made Bellamy sought for job somewhere else and fortunately it was a job at Knight Empire as Dominic Knight’s secretary.
• Only then did Rachel changes a little and arrange her a blind date with Gabriel Thompson, convincing her it is for her own good.
• Then, she let herself believe it because she didn’t want to lose the only family she has left but now, she do not care anymore.
• About Rachel, the Brooks or the Thompsons.
• Bellamy walk in to meet both Sophia and Gabriel sitting on the sofa, cuddling each other. Rachel sits on another chair with a bandage on her left arm.
• “You are here” Sophia says as she walk in pretending not to see her at first and get up.
• Gabriel’s angry eyes gaze her from bottom to head, Belle roll her eyes not having the energy to deal with him.
• “Why have you people been disturbing me? I thought I made myself clear” she said facing Rachel.
• A angry snorts comes from Rachel who is barely containing her anger towards but on Sophia’s instruction, she stays seated.
• “Do you think you can just walk out of the family? After all we have done for you?” Sophia charges at her, malice playing on her face.
• She has loathed Bellamy the moment she was brought in.
• “You will forever owe the Brooks family and you need to pay what you owe” she reveals and rest her arms against her chest.
• Bellamy smiles seeing this is what they want. She has already thought of it and prepare a good sum of money to pay back.
• She open her purse and bring out the bank note containing five hundred thousand Euro and stretch it to Sophia who frowns immediately.
