• The cool atmosphere along the hilly fortress of the Season Four Hotel awakened Kate earlier than she did, and the desire to jog around in the morning air filled her.
• Kate donned a khaki short and a sports bra. With her hair tied up in a ponytail, she placed low sneakers under her feet. She listened to Ariana Grande through her headphones as she jogged the length of the hotel. Her feet sank into the yellow sand as she moved, and the waves of the beach called her name. Kate stopped by a large rock that edged the beach and found a spot to sit. She stared into the vast water and wondered how her life would have been if she had been born into an affluent family.
