• Karen had been pacing around the penthouse all day. Denzel had ignored her or was rather cold towards her at the office today.
• "We will talk later in the day," he had told her, after several attempts she had made to intentionally run into him at the office today.
• Karen had been anxious all day, speculating what might be running through Denzel's mind. She didn't love him, she couldn't bring herself to love someone like Denzel, she needed him to get through college and maintain her newfound luxury lifestyle.
