- "I thought I should play the gentleman," he said. "Time to take my shoes off."
- It dawned on her, in the state of her stupefied arousal, that he was still more or less fully clothed, his feet slid between hers, easing her legs apart. she staggered slightly, but his other arm carried her weight as she tried to regain her balance.
- "Now," he said. "Do I need to tie those ankles apart? Or do I get some cooperation?"
