Chapter 23

• The heels of Eva’s favorite red shoes echoed on the tiled floor of CULID plc. She made her way past Kim as she headed to Denzel’s office. Kim hurriedly followed her. She knew whom she was; Eva Simpson, the daughter of one of the board members of CULID plc, Jamie Simpson.
• “Hey ma’am, I’m afraid but Mr. Denzel isn’t in the office now and besides, you didn’t schedule an appointment with him,” Kim said trying to slow her down or possibly stop her.
• Eva ignored her walking elegantly like a runway princess as she headed to Denzel’s office. Kim tried all she could to prevent her from entering into her boss’s office but Eva wasn’t going to take any of that. She walked into Denzel’s office where she sat down comfortably.
