Chapter 34

• “What was buried here?” the voice of the corps could be heard from the garden. Gina felt her entire system reverberate in fear. They found the grave; she was definitely going to prison. She was still in the sitting room when Ralph walked out; she also followed him immediately as she began thinking of the perfect explanation.
• “What is there shouldn’t be your business. Don’t you think you’re overstepping your boundaries?” Ralph asked upon joining them in the garden. He looked so relaxed as he spoke to the corps like he didn’t just bury three men right there a few days ago.
• “No, we have a search warrant,” one of the corps said, flashing a piece of paper. “We would like to know what is inside. We’d like to open it,” the corps said.
