• Miss Sonia sat on the couch with a popcorn in her hands as she watched a TV series, a broad smile on her face. Suddenly, she heard a knock on the door. She placed the popcorn down and walked steadily to the door to see who it was. As soon as she opened the door, she grunted upon seeing the face of the person—it was Natalie, her daughter's best friend.
• "Good morning, madam. Please, I'd like to know if Gina is in?" Natalie asked with a faux smile. She never liked Gina's mom, and she had never imagined exchanging compliments with her, not even in her dreams. It had been months since she last saw Gina in the streets, so she was left with no other choice than to talk to her mom.
