Chapter 5

• Gina turned the door knob and stepped in quietly. Upon walking into the room, she couldn't help but admire the room. It was quite large and beautiful beyond Gina's expectations, even though the room was a bit dark and the blue dim light was the only thing which gave the room a little lightening, she could still see the beauty of the room. She was still lost in admiration when she heard the door shut abruptly and all the lights went on, she turned around in fear to see who it was, but couldn't find anyone.
• "Hello!! Anyone in" Gina asked in fear as she walked deep into the room. Literally, that was what she should have done before walking into the room, it wasn't right for her to walk into a person's room without his/her approval. she was about asking again when she she heard footsteps coming behind her, she turned around and was brought aback by the sight in front of her. A handsome masculine man in his late 20's was standing behind her, he was heavily built and was putting on a black apparel. For a moment, Gina couldn't help but wonder who exactly he was, but he was just too handsome to be the ruthless Alpha the girls at the prison were talking about. With her lips partly open in shock, she stared at him for a pretty long time until his calm voice jolted her out of her thoughts.
• "How dare you intrude into my privacy" the man asked with a hard gaze
• "I'm so sorry sir, I'm Gina, and the Alpha sent for me" Gina said with a bow.
• "Who exactly is this Alpha who sent for you?" the man asked with a Stern look.
• "I don't know him, I've never seen him in person, but I've only heard that he's the alpha" Gina answered while the man in front of her smiled mischievously.
• "Really? What else have you heard about the Alpha?. Were you informed about his ruthlessness towards his debtors? Or were you informed that he's a dictator who demands total submission?" the man asked as he sat on a couch, patiently waiting for her response
• "I was not told all this" Gina responded in a timid voice. She was just trying to be careful with what she say. she felt betrayed by Lisa, but she still learnt something from her, She learnt never to trust anyone she just met.
• "Have your seat, you're in the right place, I am the almighty alpha of this clan" the man said while Gina shrieked in fear as she stared at him once more. How could he be the Alpha? He doesn't look like a killer to her, could it be that the ladies at the prison were only exaggerating or making up stories about the alpha?. He appeared too handsome to even be accused of hurting a fly. When she was selected to serve the alpha, her mind already anticipated an ugly man with a beastly face and monstrous voice. but here she was, standing in front of a handsome masculine man with an extremely calm voice.
• "I'm sorry,I....
• "Have your sit now" he interrupted her with an authoritative voice while Gina walked to the couch reluctantly and sat on the chair opposite him.
• " I'll be giving you two options to survive, you have to choose one. I'll let you play this chess, if you can defeat me, I'll let you go, but if you can't, I'll make you wish you never pleaded" he muttered as pulled out a chess board and arranged it on the table.
• Gina gulped hard and moved her hands to the chess board and began playing. He made the first move while she took the subsequent move. As they played, Gina felt her heart racing really fast. of course, she had all course to be worried because her life was at stake and her survival depended solely on the game. They played for a very long time, and at the end of the game, Gina emerged as the winner. The alpha stared at her for a very long time as a mischievous smirk formed at the corner of his lips.
• "Impressive!!! How did you manage to win" he asked with a faux smile.
• "I am a gambler and a gamer" Gina answered with her gaze on her fingers, but the Alpha ignored her and walked towards the bed.
• "thank you so much sir, I'll be on my way now" Gina said with a bow as she headed towards the exit door. The Alpha wasn't as bad as they claimed, she never knew she would be out so easily, it appeared to her that the girls were only exaggerating. She just couldn't wait to get back home, her mother do have a lot of questions to answer. Upon getting to the exit door, she twisted the doorknob in attempt to leave the room, but it was locked. After several attempts, she finally decided to go back to the Alpha and ask him to open the door. When she walked back to the room, she met him sitting on the bed, like he's been waiting for her to return.
• "Sir, the door" Gina muttered timidly.
• "What about the door?" he asked as he moved his cold gaze to her face
• "It's locked" Gina muttered
• "Yes" he answered in pretense
• "Can I please have the keys, I'll like to go home now" Gina said with her gaze on the floor
• "why do you need the key? and where do you think you're going to?" The alpha asked.
• "I want to go back home, we had a deal, You said I can leave if I'm able to defeat you, and I just did" Gina said worriedly
• "Leave? With my money?" He asked with a cold voice
• "What money?" Gina asked in confusion
• "Just in case you don't know why you're here, your mother borrowed $100,000 from me, and used you as a collateral. You can leave as soon as you pay back the money" the Alpha said as he stood up and walked towards her while Gina gasped out in bemusement. Why would her mother borrow such amount of money and what did she spend it on?
• "I don't have such amount of money" Gina muttered quietly.
• "What makes you think I'll let you go so easily, by merely playing a stupid game and defeating me?. You were sold to me right after your mother used you as a collateral, You're mine, you're my property, only i have the right to decide if you live or die. As long as you're yet to pay up your debt, you don't have a private life, I have all rights to your privacy and your body at anytime. you're here to serve as a sex worker until your mother pays back every dime she borrowed from me" the alpha said as he grasped her neck really hard, making Gina choke. He finally let go of her when he observed that she was loosing breath.
• "Please have mercy, I have no idea about this" Gina pleaded as she struggled to catch her breathe.
• "Forgiveness is a great since, and also a forbidden word in Atlanta. Henceforth, you shall serve as my slave and shall only live by my mercy, you shall no longer have a life on your own. I demand total submission form you" the Alpha announced while Gina nodded
• "Who I'm I to you" the alpha asked as he got hold of her chin
• "My Alpha!" Gina whimpered while the Alpha smirked as he saw the fear in her eyes
• "I hope all my orders are clear?" The alpha asked in a whisper
• "Yes sir" Gina said as she mistakenly moved her gaze to his face and her eyes caught with his dark grey eyes, this angered the alpha as he pierced his hurtful fingers into her chin, inflicting more pains on her.
• "When talking to me, address me as *your lordship* and don't you ever stare directly at my face while I'm talking, don't ever argue with my decision if you still value your life. Get lost!" he said as he let go of her chin and walked towards the window.
• "Yes! Yes your lordship" Gina whimpered still on the floor as she placed her right hands on her injured chin.
• "Axel" the alpha called out while a young man walked into the room immediately.
• "Take her to her room" the Alpha ordered while the man grabbed Gina roughly and took her away.
• Axel led Gina to a small room which looked more like a dungeon, the entire place was gloomy and there wasn't a single window in the room, it appeared too dusty and dirty to be called a "room". How does she manage to survive in there and how long does the Alpha plan on keeping her hostage?
• "What's this place? It stinks!" Gina said to Axel as she covered her nostrils using her palm.
• "I'll advise you never to attempt escaping from here, Atlanta is a different planet far away from earth. It's impossible for anyone to leave Atlanta without the help of the Alpha, only his lordship has the power to send you back to earth. So, don't waste your time trying to escape, you'll only get yourself into more trouble " Axel announced as he walked out of Gina's cell, slamming the door against her face.
