Chapter 41

• Adrian opened his eyes to the morning sunlight coming in through the window, followed by the beeping of his communicator; he groaned and gently reached for the communicator on the bedstand to avoid waking Evelyn who was sleeping soundly on his chest with her hands wrapped around him.
• "Marco?" he answered the device. "I told you not to disturb me unless it's an emergency."
• "Greg was found dead in his bed this morning." He stated flatly.
