Chapter 22 Night Patrol

• Camilla's POV
• "It's almost time for the night patrol. We don't have to leave now," Jace said as the night breeze blew hard at us while we sat at the base of the tall tree.
• Jace claimed it would be much better to stay behind for the late-night patrol, taking the chance to communicate his intentions to me. It hadn't been a boring day, especially because we had a few training sprints that made me giggle and crave more.
