Chapter 13

• I was still in the house overlooking the ocean, and it was late. We were still on the couch. I was lying on Owen's shoulder, catching Aaron's loving glances. We were good together, comfortable and cozy. However, I still desired to know everything about my ex-boyfriend.
• I first encountered Richard while he was engaged in bare-knuckle fighting in an underground club. Although it might sound like the inception of the worst relationship ever, I was too in love to think clearly at that time. And it was love at first sight. Why wasn't someone there to give me a good smack on the head? It would have been over the day I met him, and none of this would have happened.
• It all started with Veronica's innocent suggestion to have fun in an unusual place. We went to a closed club for the first time and never experimented again, only tried and tested places where we had been a hundred times and where we would go a hundred more times. But then the road led us there.
