Chapter 161 An Old Classmate

  • After she’d said that, Grace finally remembered that the woman before her was actually her roommate, Fiona Moore, during her freshman year. Fiona’s father had a minor position in the logistics department of Imperial College, so she was rather overbearing in the dormitory back then. “It’s been a long time, Fiona.” I suppose it’s destiny that I bumped into an old classmate here.
  • Fiona pulled over the thin and tall man at the side, defiance written all over her face. “Grace, Eric and I are married, and we’re even expecting a child. What about you? Are you married?”
  • Eric Saunders’ face was a tad flushed, and he dared not look Grace in the eye. He was once classmates with her during high school, both from Chaste Tree Village. Since they were from the same hometown, they were very close during the first half of freshman year. Later on, he confessed to her on their way to class, but she rejected him. After all, the only person who’d ever caught her eye during her short college life was Christopher whom she had a glimpse of at the college entrance on the first day of college.
