• I wrapped myself in Dylan's arms, I couldn't deny the way my heart skipped a beat whenever he was near. It was as if my very existence was tied to his, my heart beating in tandem with his, my breath catching in my throat whenever he looked at me.
• I felt like I was drowning in his eyes, like I was being pulled under by a riptide of emotions. I wanted to give in to him, to let him sweep me up in his arms and carry me away on a tide of passion and desire. But I was scared, so scared, of what it would mean.
