• I sat there, frozen on my seat as I tried to fathom what he just asked. After a few heartbeats, I replied. "How would I know? I don't even know who you like."
• He looked at me for a while, an incomprehensible look in his eyes that brought an unsettling feeling inside me. "The lady I like is famous and indifferent to my feelings," he said with a bitter smile but the serious look in his eyes made me speechless.
