• Evelyn's POV
• The sunlight peeked through the curtains and I stirred in my sleep. I groaned, stretching in the bed, satisfied by how free my muscles were. I never thought I'd wake up to the day I would feel relaxed.
• My eyes fluttered open and I stared at the ceiling for some time, my vision cleared and my mind recalling the incident that occurred in the hospital. It had been days ago but they were still clear in my memory.
