Chapter 7 The Accident Truth

• Eric's POV
• "What are you saying? Mom! " I asked her.
• "Yes, that's true. Erish fell in love with someone else! " She started sobbing with more misery. 
• Hearing this my anger didn't hide anymore. I became more and more violent knowing the truth. 
• " Then why in the first place is he ready to marry Angela? " 
• " Because of your father ! " she mumbles the word in an upset tone. 
• " Dad? What do you mean? Tell me the truth Mom!!! "  I don't want to listen to her sobs or her sorry. All I want to know is the truth and the next second I asked, yelling at her.
• " After you go abroad, Erish joins the business and there your brother fell in love with a woman employee who is working within him. "
• " One day he told your father the truth that he no longer wanted to marry Angela. He tried every way to convince your dad to cancel their wedding. But your dad absolutely refused to accept this and told him that there is no way that he would cancel the wedding and accept any other woman as his daughter-in-law accepted Angela! " 
• " That day a big conflict happened between your father and Erish. Your brother had decided that he would marry the woman he loves no matter what! And your father had also decided that Erish would marry only Angela! "
• "Every day after that day there were quarrels between your brother and  father. I tried to talk to both of them. Despite this, no solution was found because nobody wanted to back down."
• One day your dad threatened Erish with the woman's life and told him that if he refused to marry Angela, he would make that woman leave this country and he would never find her. Because of this Erish said yes to marry Angela and after that, we put the date of marriage exactly one month later. " 
• Hearing this I asked her " Then what happened after that? "
• " After the marriage was fixed, Erish stopped talking to your father, but he did not spoil his behavior with Angela. He still treated her gently like always and seeing this, we felt that he was slowly getting closer to Angela. But to think this was our biggest mistake. "
• " What do you mean by this Mom? "  my eyebrows arch.
• "Just a day before marriage, he again started talking to your father about breaking the marriage, and this time your brother was not only emotionally but mentally broken. "
• "He cried miserably and keel down  in front of your father. He tried to convince him and said that he cannot really live without that girl but his father angrily reprimands him. "
• After that, he just angrily walks out of the house carrying the car which made me feel scared. I  tried to convince your father and told him to stop Erish but he did not listen to me at all and went back to his room without turning back. Seeing this I tried to run after Erish to stop him on my own, but his car was gone. And a few hours later, we suddenly got a call from the hospital that your brother had an accident. "
• Her body lost her balance and she collapsed explaining the incident. 
• " Mom, Are you okay? " I held her hand to support her and my face became worried.
• " Yes, I'm okay! " Her voice is weak. 
• " Mom, if you don't feel well then we can talk about this tomorrow. You just rest. " I said in a calm tone.
• " No, I'm okay! I want to tell you everything! " She is determined.
• I nodded my head. She started again.
• " When we came to the hospital, we came to know that his head has suffered a lot of internal injuries, due to which he has gone into a vegetative state. Because of this, your father blamed himself a lot but there is nothing we can do. It's already too late to handle everything. We have only that night in our hands because the next morning the wedding needs to take place." 
• " The wedding news is already all over the newspaper and Tv. So, We don't have time to tell all the truth to Angela's family because we also need to protect our company. So we decided to hide this truth from Angela and marry her with you. " She explained guiltily.
• After hearing all this my body stiffened up and my eyes widened with shock. I never thought that one day my brother stopped loving Angela like this and my father could threaten his own son like this. 
• " I know this is hard for you but I and your dad believe in you. This is still better than telling her the truth. Because the truth only brings her tears. And even she knows about this. She still has to wait for Erish to wake up again and explain this all to her on his own . '' she tried to convince me.
• "Eric! You and Angela are a legal couple now. And this is the real truth now.! Just give all your love to her.  As a woman, we all need our husband's love and support. I believe your love never makes her leave you! " she gently smiled.
• Hearing this I greeted my teeth with anger and asked " But what if she never accepts me after knowing the truth?  "  There is fear in my heart when I say these words. 
• " Eric, never lose hope.  Just be a good husband and make her happy. I believe even one day she knows everything. She can not ignore your love for her! Just trust yourself! " 
• My eyes become moist hearing this. 
• " I know this is wrong but for now we don't know when will Erish health will be fine and Angela is a good child. We don't want her to live miserably. We all know how much she loves Erish. But she is still young. We can't hold her life just because of our son. So we choose you as her husband. Please give your relationship one chance. And I promise this is only for a few days when the situation becomes better, I and your father will tell her everything. " she said in a calm voice. 
• I hesitated to hear her words and tried to say something. But before I could say anything, she interrupted my words. 
• "Son, don't worry! We will always be there for you and Angela! Just don't be afraid to take steps ! " she held my hands tightly and said with heavy breathing looking at me dearly. 
• I hugged her and said calmly " Thank you, mom! " 
• She nodded and said " Now go! It's already too late! Good night!  Rest well "
• I bitterly smiled and said "Good night! "
• After that she nodded her head and went to her room, leaving me alone. 
• Standing there alone,  I thought in my heart "Even Erish didn't love her anymore but he is still the one she loved dearly in her heart. I don't know if we are destined for each other or not.  But I don't want her in my life like this at all. Cheating her or hiding the real truth. "
