• The auditorium was packed, buzzing with energy and anticipation. Students filled every row, their voices blending into a soft roar as the Freshman Welcome Ceremony officially began. Camera lights flickered. Faculty took their seats near the front.
• Somewhere in the crowd, I spotted Evelyn and Michelle staring at me with disgust, of course I wasn’t sitting with them. Tessa was there too.
